The Hellfish Team dominated in both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu competitions over the weekend. First up was Jon Naji from the Chalfont gym fighting in his first Muay Thai fight at the USKA event in Philadelphia on Saturday January 20th. Sunday saw Hellfish Jiu Jitsu Brownbelts Will Weisser and Mike Olivieri competing in the FUJI sports Jiu Jitsu Open competition with Will earning Silver and Mike earning a Bronze in Gi and a Gold in NOGI.
USKA is one of the top Muay Thai and Kickboxing promotions in the country. They showcase some of the best talent in the local area along with some top national and international fighter. This past saturday, Chalfont Hellfish student Jon Naji made his Muay Thai debut in Philadelphia. He won via TKO in the second round after dropping his opponent several times with knees to the body. Jon set up the finish with an onslaught of solid straight right hands and uppercuts to the head and viscous body punches before getting to the clinch and finishing him off with hard knees to the body.
